The chickpea snack brand Hippeas has launched a new range of plant-based tortillas for healthy, guilt-free snacking.

Leonardo DiCaprio backed vegan snack brand Hippeas launched a new organic, gluten-free, vegan and totally delicious range of chickpea tortillas in three distinctive flavours on December 18.

The new variety of chips are made with chickpea flour, corn flour, sunflower oil, pea fiber and sea salt.

The chickpea chips provide 3 grams of protein, 3 grams of fiber and 150 to 160 calories per 1-oz serving.

The flavours include Straight Up Sea Salt, Rockin’ Ranch and Jalapeño Vegan Cheddar, with the latter two containing rice flour.

Hippeas Tortilla Chips are available exclusively at Whole Foods Market stores nationwide.

Customers that tried out the chickpea tortillas, couldn’t stop raving about its deliciousness on social media.

The Hippeas snacks range debuted in July 2016 with chickpea puffs asking all snackers to #GivePeasAChance® while also doing good in the world.

The chickpea snack puffs available in Vegan White Cheddar, Nacho Vibes, Bohemian Barbecue, Sriracha Sunshine and Himalayan Happiness flavors have been a huge hit since their launch officially taking over consumers’ tastes nationwide.
