‘The ProVeg Veggie Challenge App makes it easier than ever to try a more plant-based diet,’ says the organization.
ProVeg has launched an app to help more people transition to a plant based lifestyle.
A leading international food awareness organization-ProVeg, states that there has ‘never been a better time to explore your food choices’ especially in the wake of the pandemic that has reignited concerns about health, food security and safety in addition to existing environmental issues about the impact of consuming animal products.

‘30-day challenge’
According to the organization, the new Veggie Challenge app ‘makes it easy to explore a vegan diet, try vegetarianism or simply reduce your meat consumption’.
Depending on ‘whether you want to improve your health, protect the planet, care for animals or simply choose delicious food,’ you can opt from any of the following three challenges: 30 days less meat, 30 days vegetarian, and 30 days vegan.
Announcing the app launch on Instagram, the organization wrote: “More than 250,000 people have already joined the free 30-day challenge.
“In addition to free coaching, daily tips, hundreds of recipes, and access to a vibrant and supportive community the new app helps users make a weekly meal plan, organise shopping lists, store favourite recipes, and delivers cooking instructions straight to the kitchen.”
