The iconic brand’s latest offering includes vegan chocolate made from oat milk in Hazelnut, Salted Caramel, and Cookie flavors.
Swiss chocolate company Lindt’s new vegan milk chocolate bars have finally launched in the UK.
This comes after the iconic chocolate brand earlier revealed that it would be unveiling its vegan range in Germany in November.
The new chocolate line is made from oat milk and is part of the brand’s popular Hello line. The bars are available in three delicious flavours: Cookie, Salted Caramel, and Hazelnut.
Online Vegan confectionery shop The Conscious Candy Company was the first retailer to stock the bars in the UK and the chocolates immediately sold out after it announced the news on social media.
The store began with offering two flavors (Cookies and Hazelnut) for €3.99 ($5.31) and will have the Salted Caramel flavour in stock by next month.
While all of the chocolate bars are currently out of stock, you can get notified about the items being back in stock by signing up on the website.
Vegan chocolate market
Lindt joins other companies that have recently released vegan chocolate lines.
Recently, Huel added a new vegan Raspberry & White Chocolate Snack Bar to its range while confectionery giant Mars released a Mars flavoured oat drink inspired by its iconic chocolate bar.
British chocolate giant Cadbury also launched a dairy-free version of its iconic Bournville chocolate finger biscuits.
Meanwhile, Galaxy expanded its vegan range by adding Crumbled Cookie and Smooth Mint to its dairy-free line-up. It also rolled out a new vegan hot chocolate drink powder in time for winter.
