Kim Kardashian will host a vegan cooking tutorial at sister Kourtney Kardashian’s Poosh Your Wellness festival in May.

Reality star, fashion mogul, and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian will be doling out cooking instructions during her sister Kourtney Kardashian’s second annual Poosh Your Wellness festival.

On May 1, Kardashian will host a guided vegan cooking tutorial of her favorite plant-based meals presented by Beyond Meat.

The virtual festival will also have sister Kendall Jenner making an appearance alongside experts from the health, wellness, and beauty industries.

“I cannot wait to see Kim showing us how to make one of her favorite plant-based recipes,” Kourtney Kardashian said in an interview with People

Virtual event

While general admission to the ‘90s theme event is free, Poosh Your Wellness is also offering VIP passes ($190 per ticket), which includes a live meet-and-greet with Kourtney Kardashian and a goodie bag filled with products from vegan brand Beyond Meat, beauty brand Youth to the People, luxury brand Slip Silk, and more.

Kim Kardashian promotes plant-based

This year, Kim Kardashian has been actively promoting a plant-based lifestyle on social media after first transitioning to it in 2019.

In fact, she also revealed that she convinced three of her family members including Kourtney, Khloé, and Kylie to try out a plant-based diet.

In a recent post, Kourtney Kardashian – who has been gluten-free and dairy-free for years – revealed she was even more mindful of her diet after watching the Netflix documentary Seaspiracy.

“I haven’t eaten meat in a few months at all but was still eating a little fish. But after watching this …” she wrote on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Khloé Kardashian, who ditched meat in 2018 during her pregnancy with True Thompson in 2018, is also trying out vegan meals this year.

Likewise, younger sister Kylie Jenner told her 223 million Instagram fans that she was ‘really trying not to eat meat’ last month.

Are the Kardashians/ Jenners really vegan?

While the Kardashian/ Jenner family are eschewing meat from their diets, they still wear leather and purchase products made from animal skins and hides.

Last December, members of the animal rights organization SoCal Animal Defense League confronted Kylie Jenner and shamed her for wearing fur and shopping at Beverly Hills’ luxury store Moncler, which sells fox fur coats.

In another incident back in January 2020, Jenner was blasted when she posted a picture of her newly-bought Louis Vuitton slippers made from mink fur, only days after she tried to raise awareness about Koalas losing their lives in the Australian wildfire.
